There was a very old tradition that the name Yahweh be erased out of Scripture due to reverence to that sacred name. “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” 1 Jn 4:4 “I am Yahweh, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, nor My praise to graven images. Is 42:8 Yahweh personally gave His profound divinity name to be remembered forever! Yahweh was the most prominent name freely glorified and praised throughout Old Testament 6,828 times from Genesis to Malachi. Not once did God forbid the glory and honor due to His name. In facts He commanded for it. “Scripture is the final authority in all rules of faith and practice.” God did not endorse that tradition which was unfounded and counter Scripture. And they murdered His name Yahweh in the spirit of reverence to it? That’s evil and satanic. What to expect when one followed the Yahweh/Messiah/Christ denier instead of Yahweh? One got nothing but LORD to blind him from seeing Yahweh. LORD was the opposite of Yahweh. How they desired we never know Yahweh. “And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM”; and He said, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” And God furthermore said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, “Yahweh, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is My name forever, and this is My memorial-name from generation to generation.” Ex 3:14, 15 It was astounding to realize that it was Christ who said it. “For nothing is hidden that will not become evident, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light.” Lk 12:2 We need to oust this lie to reclaim Yahweh and Christ. First the need to get Yahweh instead of LORD to see the truth. The angel of Yahweh was Yahweh and God Ex 3:2- 4. His name was willfully concealed in the LORD. The high priests willfully misinterpreted His 3rd Commandment to deceive His believers, and unilaterally changed His unique name Yahweh to a nameless title Adonai translated LORD which was neither Yahweh in spirit or truth. He twisted His truth into a lie. “You shall not take the name of Yahweh your God in vain, for Yahweh will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain!” Ex 20:7, Dt 5:11 It was the 3rd commandment, to honor and remember His name, forbidding its misuse. The high priests slyly misinterpreted this to mean that the name Yahweh was too sacred to be pronounced, least His name be taken in vain, and forbidden the pronunciation and written Yahweh against His explicit commands. There were evil motivations and crime to it. God didn’t introduce His name to be forbidden for us to use it. They cunningly erased His name Yahweh from Scripture totally. That tradition was a lie and fraud. And we followed that liar instead of obeying God? “We are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming.” Eph 4:14 Erased His name was exactly taken His name in vain. Remembered Yahweh was the point. “Blessed is the man who trusts in Yahweh and whose trust is Yahweh.” Jeremiah 17:7. “Jesus answered and said to them, “Why do you yourselves transgress the commandment of God for the sake of your tradition?” “But in vain do they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commands of men.” Mt 15:3 & 9 “And their fear of Me is in the command of men learned by rote. Is 29:13 They edited and changed the name Yahweh to Adonia in their manuscripts, translated to LORD into every English Bibles whenever the corrupted Masoretic Text’s Adonai was used in the translations. “But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness or adulterating the word of God, but by the manifestation of truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.” 2 Cor 4:2 The name YHWH not Adonia was written in the Holy Scripture. Enjoy the faithfully translated Yahweh forever, and flee from the lie and false LORD. “The end of the matter, all that has been heard: fear God and keep His commandments, because this is the end of the matter for all mankind.” Ecc 12:13 Greek translated YHWH to Lord too. Lord in Greek referred to Jesus exclusively. Lord was Christ but there was no Christ in the LORD. The tradition of replacing YHWH with Adonai began after the Babylonian Exile (600BCE) and was strictly enforced during Jesus’s time by the Jewish authority. “Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.” Therefore they picked up stones to throw at Him, but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple.” Jn 8:58,59. The Pharisees understood that Jesus referred Himself as Yahweh in Exodus 3:14 and stoned Him for blasphemy. It was understandable that Greek translated YHWH as Lord under those restrictions where the pronunciation and written Yahweh were forbidden, punishable with stoning and death. The translators unlike the inspired writers were under the Jewish authority. Recall Stephen’s trial before the Sanhedrin Act 6:12. The Pharisees did not deny that YHWH was written in the Hebrew Scripture, but they unilaterally ruled that Yahweh could not be pronounced or written; against God’s commands. While the Jews were the custodians of the Holy Scripture, they had broken trust entrusted to them, and lost the original Scripture. Their later1000 AD old Masoretic Text’s Adonai was uncalled for. Never call Yahweh as LORD. Was that an unforgiveable sin against the Holy Spirit?
“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD” KJV. “Hear, O Israel! Yahweh is our God, Yahweh is one!” Deut 6:4 LSB “One” Echad was a unity of essence in three person Father, Son, Holy Spirit, not a singularity; the verse affirmed God’s singular divine nature one Trinity, whereas Judaism rejected Trinity and insisted on monotheism, one LORD devoid of Christ. Yahweh was God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Trinity. Whereas LORD was indivisible absolutely one LORD, no Christ and antichrist. This hardcore antichrist rejected Yahweh/Christ in the Old Testament as well as the New Testament because of Christ. There was simply no Christ in them. “The LORD our God is one LORD” defined Judaism and not Christian. “Yahweh is our God, Yahweh is one!” is Christian and not Judaism’s proudest central declaration of faith. Indeed, Yahweh and LORD are opposite each other as Heaven and Earth. Don’t be fooled by the LORD. There is no Christ in the LORD. “And it will be that everyone who calls on the name of Yahweh will be delivered. Joel 2:32 “For ‘Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’” Ro 10:13 Yahweh in the Old Testament is Lord Christ Jesus in the New Testament. Contrast that with “That whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered.” LORD had no Christ and no salvation. Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through Me.” Jn 14:6 “ And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 “For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” 1 Timothy 2:5 LORD is only antichrist and unscriptural. A very old lie turned tradition to deceive the true worship of God. Let’s reiterate the doctrine Trinity from the beginning which showed LORD was not Christian. “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.” Ge 1:1 & 2 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.” Jn 1:1 “And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.” Jn 1:14. In the beginning was God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit– Trinity. See Yahweh see Christ and enjoy Scripture as it was given to us and the excellence of His word. “And the Angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, here am I.” Ex 3:2-4 KJV Who was the Angel of the LORD? It was taught that the Angel of the LORD was a Theophany, a shadowy manifestation of gods rooted in Greek mythology. The Creator was far above that, and Scripture expresses it accurately and clearly. Exodus 3:1-15 LSB: 1 Now Moses was pasturing the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian; and he led the flock to the west side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.2 And the angel of Yahweh appeared to him in a blazing fire from the midst of the bush; and he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, yet the bush was not consumed.3 So Moses said, “I must turn aside now and see this marvelous sight. Why is the bush not burned up?”4 And Yahweh saw that he turned aside to look, so God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.”5 Then He said, “Do not come near here. Remove your sandals from your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.”6 He said also, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Then Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God.7 And Yahweh said, “I have surely seen the affliction of My people who are in Egypt, and I have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sufferings.8 So I have come down to deliver them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up from that land to a good and spacious land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanite and the Hittite and the Amorite and the Perizzite and the Hivite and the Jebusite.9 So now, behold, the cry of the sons of Israel has come to Me; and I have also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians are oppressing them.10 So now, come and I will send you to Pharaoh, and so you shall bring My people, the sons of Israel, out of Egypt.”11 But Moses said to God, “Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the sons of Israel out of Egypt?”12 And He said, “Certainly I will be with you, and this shall be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God at this mountain.”13 Then Moses said to God, “Behold, I am about to come to the sons of Israel, and I will say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you.’ And they will say to me, ‘What is His name?’ What shall I say to them?”14 And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM”; and He said, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”15 And God furthermore said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘Yahweh, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is My name forever, and this is My memorial-name from generation to generation. Scripture was explicit and specific that the angel of Yahweh was Yahweh and God verses 2-4. The angel of Yahweh was the sent and second Yahweh, Christ. Only Christ spoke with Moses in the Burning Bush. His speeches 6, 7-10, 12, 14 and 15 were in Red and Scripture attested it. “Yahweh said to my Lord (Christ): ‘Sit at My right hand until I put Your enemies as a footstool for Your feet.’” Ps 110:1 “Yahweh has sworn and will not change His mind, ‘You (Christ) are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.” Psalm 110:4 “ And every priest stands daily ministering and offering time after time the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins; but He (Christ), having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God, waiting from that time until His enemies are put as a footstool for His feet. Heb 10:11-13 “And Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; now he was a priest of God Most High. Then he blessed him and said, ‘blessed be Abram of God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth; and blessed be God Most High. Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.’ Then he gave him a tenth of all. Ge 14:18-20. Abraham was glad he saw Melchizedek/Christ. “But the angel of Yahweh called to him from heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.” And He said, “Do not stretch out your hand against the boy, and do nothing to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only one, from Me.” Ge 22:11,12 Isaac saw the angel of Yahweh. “Then he said, “Your name shall no longer be Jacob, but Israel; for you have striven with God and with men and have prevailed.” Ge 32:28 “In the womb he took his brother by the heel, and in his maturity he wrestled with God. Indeed, he wrestled with the angel and prevailed; he wept and sought His favor. he found Him at Bethel, and there He spoke with us.” Hosea 12 :3,4 “And he blessed Joseph and said, “May the God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked, the God who has been my shepherd throughout my life to this day, the angel who has redeemed me from all evil, bless these boys; and may my name live on in them, and the names of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and may they grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.” Jacob saw Christ as his shepherd throughout his life and the angel who redeemed him. Martyr Stephen in his dying words identified the angel in the flaming fire in Burning Bush as the Lord (Christ) who was: IAM THE GOD OF YOUR FATHERS, THE GOD OF ABAHAM, THE GOD OF ISAAC AND JACOB. Acts 7:32 “But by a prophet Yahweh brought Israel up from Egypt, and by a prophet he was kept.” Hosea 12:13 The prophet Yahweh Christ kept Jacob and brought Israel up from Egypt. These more than fulfilled verse 6. Again, what Hosea just quoted also confirmed that Christ delivered Israel up from Egypt as in verses 7-10. Jude 5 said the same thing. Certainly, prophet Yahweh was Christ Jesus and much more enlightening than the nothing and deceiving LORD. “And all drank the same spiritual drink, for they were drinking from a spiritual rock which followed them, and the rock was Christ. 1Cor 10:4 Paul testified Christ followed them as in verse 12. Jesus Christ was the great I AM in Ex 3:14,15. He said He was the I am Yahweh 8 times in the Gospel of John: “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was I am.” Jn 8:58 “I am the bread of life.” 6:35 I am the Light of the world.” 8:12 “I am the door.” 10:9 “I am the good shepherd.” 10:11 “I am the resurrection and the life.” 11:25. “I am the way, and the truth, and the life.” 14:6 “I am the true vine.” 15:1.I am Yahweh, that is My name. Christ Jesus is true to all He said in Exodus 3. “But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” Jn 4:23,24 Yahweh is the truth and there are much much more to regain from knowing him than to continue to lost HIM. The more one reads about Yahweh, the closer is one’s personal relationship is with Him. “The chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy him forever.”
